Frank P. Kimler, MTX
As a tax and accounting manager for Nugent & Haeussler, Frank brings over 21 years of experience providing a wide-range of specialized tax, accounting, and consulting services to the business, tax-exempt, and individual clients of the firm.
In addition to his client service role, he manages many operational activities, including processes, marketing, and financial technology. He specializes in accounting and reporting for large hedge and private equity funds where he works closely with the financial, audit and client servicing departments and also serves as an outsourced controller.
Frank also manages all aspects of accounting and tax compliance for tax-exempt organizations including Federal and State filing requirements, applications for exemption, and IRS representation, working with a variety of pubic charities, trade organizations, civic leagues and private member clubs.
He has spent much of his career assisting clients in the Real Estate sector, where he focuses on real estate taxation, including real estate development, construction, and management organizations.
Prior to joining Nugent & Haeussler in 2012, he was the Director of Tax Operations for a “Top 50” accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia and also as a specialist in the Federal Tax Group on Corporate and Partnership Taxation for large, multi-state, multi-national organizations for another “Big 5” national firm.
In his free time, Frank is the chairman of Hudson Valley Honor Flight, Inc., where he helps organize charter flights to Washington, D.C. monuments for WWII veterans. He also enjoys traveling and spoiling his two Boxers.
